Plus, it is low calorie and healthy too! Tzatziki is what made the Greek “gyro” sandwich so popular! My Easy Breezy Tzatziki is so simple to make, most likely you already have all of the ingredients on hand. Perfect when unexpected guests arrive to your home and you need something quick and delicious to serve.
I used Persian cucumbers in this recipe, because it’s peel is edible.
Four reasons why I love the peel;
- It is edible and doesn’t require peeling
- It has all the nutrients
- It offers great texture
- It gives a beautiful color
There are so many uses for tzatziki, such as on sandwiches, as a dip for raw veggies, or on grilled lamb, chicken, salmon, or turkey burgers. Try it on my favorite summertime grilled Greek chicken kebobs.
Stay tuned to find out what amazing vegetarian meal I made using this easy breezy tzatziki. The post is soon to come and you won’t want to miss it.
