Are you surprised to see a new post from me? I know, it has been a long time since I’ve posted. But I’m back…at least for today. Work and family life has been keeping me super busy, so I have had to put blogging aside. I’m hoping I will be able to start posting to the blog once again.
This glazed almond poppy seed bread is something I’ve been baking for years and is a family favorite. It’s not something I would have normally put on the blog because it isn’t “healthy”. However, I did use pure and organic ingredients. I know some day, one of my daughters is going to ask for the recipe and I can happily respond “it’s on the blog”.
Speaking of daughter’s, this glazed almond poppy seed bread is perfect for a Mother’s Day brunch or tea. The bread is slightly sweet with a hint of almond, but the glaze which is poured onto the warm bread, intensifies the sweetness and almond flavoring within. A dessert bread that is so moist and incredibly delicious, plus this recipe will give you two loaves. Eat one now and freeze the other for later.
