But did you know that those delicious spicy wings are deep fried and smothered in a hot buttery sauce? Yes, they are loaded with calories!
These Skinny Buffalo Wings are low in calories and full of flavor! I will definitely be making these wings over and over again. The easy to make, Buttermilk Blue Cheese Dip is so creamy and has an intense blue cheese flavor, you will never buy bottled dressing again.
What makes these Buffalo Wings skinny? Well, they are broiled, not fried. But wait, it gets better…. they are boiled before broiling, which helps to render out some of the fat. No butter on these wings! You are going to love these moist and perfectly spiced wings.

Skinny Buffalo Wings with Buttermilk Blue Cheese Dip
Adapted from Comfort Food Fix, Ellie Krieger
Servings: 4 (5 to 6 wings)
2 pounds chicken party wings
3/4 cup Frank’s Red Hot sauce, plus more for serving
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
3 tablespoons low-sodium chicken broth
3 large ribs celery, cut into sticks
1 recipe Buttermilk Blue Cheese Dip
Preheat the broiler. Place the wings in a large pot and fill the pot with water to cover by about 2 inches. Bring to a boil, and then continue to boil for 10 minutes. Drain.
Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine the sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and broth and set aside.
Transfer the wings to a baking sheet or broiler pan, which has been lightly coated with cooking spray, and broil 5 to 6 inches from the flame, until the skin begins to blister and brown, 5 to 6 minutes. Turn the wings over and broil until cooked through, 5 to 6 minutes more. Watch the wings very carefully once they’re under the broiler, because when they begin to brown, it happens quite quickly.
Using tongs add wings to the sauce and stir to evenly coat wings. Transfers the wings to a baking sheet, drizzle with the reserved sauce, and toss well to coat. Place the baking sheet under the broiler for 1 to 2 minutes. Turn the wings over and broil an additional 1 to 2 minutes, to heat the wings and sauce together.
Serve the broiled Buffalo wings with extra hot sauce on the side, celery sticks, and the buttermilk blue cheese dip.
